Just another day in Paradise

Area: Hilo, Keaukaha Area
Companion: Elder Kellogg

Hey how are you all doing?! Thats good. SO cousins camp was good right? Sorry that I wasnt able to make it, I'm in the middle of the ocean.

You guys were wondering a little bit about Elder Kellog. He's from Alpine Utah and has been out about 10 something months. He was Elder Niemanns MTC companion.

Its pretty humid down here in Hilo and biking doesn't help most of the time. It was zone conference this last Friday, so we had to drive all the way out to Waimea. It's about a hour and a half drive. But its so weird how the climates and scenery changes when your on an island.  Big Island has a lot of country and a lot of crazy people. Waimea is green rolling hills while Hilo is all jungle. The zone conference was good.  We have been practicing the Haka Dance so that we could perform it at zone conference. We were looking pretty scary.

It was President and Sister Dalton's last tour of the island  before they are done with there mission - like at the beginning of next month.  It was pretty good.

We have a very Hawaiian ward and the people here are very down to earth.  People just pretty much live in a tent next to the ocean all summer. I love you guys so much have a good one.

Love Elder Shoemaker
